Bighorn sheep are such impressive mammals that it is very easy to see why they have earned their designation as the state animal of Colorado. They can be found in pockets around the state, preferring the south-facing cliffs of canyons and the high peaks.
"Bighorn Head Bash"
These bighorn rams were way up high on the cliffs. They each tilt their heads to the right, in order to hit just right, and this really shows that moment, before the actual impact. What a thrill to watch these guys as they battled.
