"Schist Rock"
Schist is the dark-colored stuff at the top, and the lighter rock at the bottom is magma that pushed up through the sea (I am rather dubious about how "they" know this for sure, LOL). Found near the top of Trail Ridge Road, so that must have been a mighty deep sea.
